How to find VCI in Frankfurt

By train

It is only a 5-minute walk from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (central railway station) to the VCI Building. From the main concourse, leave the station through the north exit, cross the street there and keep right for 50 metres onto Düsseldorfer Straße. Keep left and follow Düsseldorfer Straße for 200 metres. Then turn right and follow Mainzer Landstraße for 200 metres in the direction of the city centre.

By Airplane

There are two train stations at the airport. Regional trains (S-Bahn) depart from the underground regional railway station in Terminal 1 (follow the signs "Regionalbahnhof/ Regional trains"). From Terminal 2 take the "Sky Line" (free of charge) to Terminal 1. Take any train of lines S8 or S9 from platform 1 or 2 (direction Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof or Offenbach or Hanau); all trains go to the central railway station (Hauptbahnhof). At peak times trains run in 10-15 minute intervals. Tickets must be purchased from the blue-turquoise RMV vending machines. Key in the destination number 5000 and press the button "Einzelfahrt Frankfurt" for adult passengers (single ticket to Frankfurt). Taking the S-Bahn from the “Regionalbahnhof” is the quickest and cheapest way to get from the airport to Frankfurt central station. A taxi from the airport to the VCI building costs € 30 to € 35. The ride takes 30 to 40 minutes.
